MBA in Islamic banking and Finance one month full time program and 24 months part time program can be completed via online learning. The program has been designed to create skillful graduates are have expertise skills in both conventional and Islamic banking and finance. The Islamic banking and finance units of the courses are approved by AAOIFI qualified Islamic Commercial Law expert to make sure that it meets international Islamic finance standards. While the students studying for the current programs they will also be offered with 12 professional certification from top Islamic finance institutions. The course is 180 credits and

 

Entry requirements

a) Bachelor (Hons) degree in related field of studies or its equivalent qualification with minimum CGPA of 2.50 a university or;
b) Fulfill Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) admission process for Master’s Degree in related area.

 

Language Requirements

All the candidates are expected to have good knowledge of English language. The courses will be conducted 100% in English medium. Arabic terminology will be taught separately.

Program Requirements

In order to complete this course a student must successfully complete all the following core modules (totaling 140 credits) and 2 modules from electives.

Principles of Islamic and conventional Finance      20 Credits
Islamic Commercial law                                              20 Credits
Islamic Finance products                                            20 Credits
Islamic Capital Market                                                 20 Credits
Research and dissertation                                          60 Credits

In order to complete this course a student must successfully complete at least 40 credits from the following indicative list of OPTIONAL modules:
Cash flow analysis for Islamic finance products          20 Credits
Islamic Bonds (Sukuk)                                                      20 Credits
Risk Management for Islamic financial institutions     20 Credits
Islamic Accounting and financial reporting                   20 Credits
